Sustainability

NEAT Stockholm prints are made to order — nothing is printed in advance, nothing sits in a warehouse. Every order is produced only after it's been placed, which means no overproduction and no wasted stock.

Local production, lower footprint

Prints are produced through Gelato's global network of 140+ print partners in 32 countries. Your order is printed as close to your delivery address as possible. This local production model reduces the average transport distance per order significantly compared to centralised printing and worldwide shipping.

Paper and materials

All prints are produced on FSC-certified paper — sourced from responsibly managed forests. Depending on the series, one of two papers is used:

  • 200 gsm semi-glossy paper — a heavier weight with a smooth, subtle sheen. Durable and colour-accurate.
  • 250 gsm museum-quality matte paper — uncoated, acid-free, and resistant to yellowing over time. Used for the Abstracts series and the NEAT x Hans Bäckström collection.

Packaging

Prints are shipped in sturdy recyclable cardboard packaging — flat for smaller sizes, tube for larger ones. No excess wrapping.

Quality that lasts

A print that lasts is more sustainable than one that needs replacing. The papers used are chosen for their durability and colour stability — so your print should look as good in ten years as it does on day one.
