The Layered collection is a series of hand-drawn illustrations printed using riso logic — each colour applied as a separate layer, with overlaps creating new hues that couldn't exist any other way. Lemons in indigo and gold. Poppies in warm Mediterranean reds. A swan reduced to its essential curve. A match, a flashlight, a pair of red lips — everyday objects made strange by close attention and a deliberate hand.

None of these prints are generated by algorithm or assembled from stock. Every line is drawn by Klara Bäckström, every colour decision made before the first layer goes down. The riso-inspired printing process is part of the artwork, not just the method of reproducing it.
